Ford from Trail Head Cyclery was going on a ride on Sunday, so I joined him. The destination this time was El Corte de Madera - AKA Skeggs. These are some more trails off in the Santa Cruz direction, off Skyline Boulevard. I wish I'd taken some pics on the way there, the giant redwoods were very impressive. Seeing signs describing what to do in the event of a mountain lion attack (apparently very very rare) was quite bizarre to say the least!

First blood loss of the trip occured here with a very lame crash. It was nothing serious, but the trail owes me some skin now. I'm still recovering from yesterdays (stupid) sun burn too, so I'm just a ball of annoying pain right now.
